The Opening: Will Gragg

The Opening: Will Gragg

It will be one of half a dozen schools for Scout 300 tight end Will Gragg, but he is in no rush...

Will Gragg claims over 40 scholarship offers and he has given schools plenty of time to make their move.

After thinking about recruiting hard for much of the summer, the four-star tight end out of Dumas, Ark. is down to six.

Odds are high that one of those schools receives a letter of intent from Gragg on signing day.

"Ole Miss, Arkansas, Alabama, Texas, LSU, and Louisville are my top schools," said Gragg. "That is my final six and I will choose one of those schools."

Each school outside of the home-state Razorbacks will receive an official visit said Gragg. He has visited UA more than any other school, his brother (Chris Gragg) played there, and it is closer to home than any other program, so he will visit schools officially that are farther away.

The 6-foot-4, 252 pound senior has visited all but Louisville already this summer out of his final group. Gragg said each school "impressed" him during his visit and he likes how "Petrino puts guys in the NFL".

Gragg is not going to rush into a decision.

"I am looking for the right school for me. Level of comfort is very important to me, so the visits are big.

"I have a couple of schools in mind that are high on my list, but all [six] schools have a shot. I want to find where I will be at home and have the most success."

Gragg is the No. 5 tight end in the country on Scout.
