The Opening: Previewing Maea Teuhema is profiling each member from the Midlands Region heading to The Opening next week at Nike's headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon, and in this installment we look at LSU four-star offensive line commit Maea Teuhema

Maea Teuhema

7v7 Team: Alpha Pro
Position: OL
HT: 6'5 | WT: 335
Keller (Texas)

Recruiting: After initially making his verbal commitment to play for the Texas Longhorns, the massive linemen switched to the LSU Tigers after Mack Brown stepped down as head coach. He will join his brother Sione Teuhema in Baton Rouge.

Scouting Report: A massive offensive line prospect who just completely eats his opponents up. He is so much bigger and stronger and has a real nasty streak about him. He takes pride in finishing blocks with a pancake. He can push the man in front of him around to open up running lanes and also has a surprising nimbleness that allows him to be adequate in pass protection. Once he latches on you can forget about it, he will finish the block. Will likely move to OG.

At Stake: Teuhema comes in to the event as the No. 1 rated offensive guard by Scout. He will be looking to fend off all comers for that top spot. He will also be looking to proves, that even though he is big that he still has the ability to move and is light enough on his feet to project as a superior college lineman. Recommended Stories
