Taylor Hearn worked at just about every position along the offensive line during Shrine Bowl practice last December.

OT Taylor Hearn Profile

When preseason camp begins in August, he'll play wherever Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell asks.

Guard, tackle or center -- it doesn't matter to Hearn.

"Just rep wherever they want me to rep, just working hard and trying to earn me a spot somewhere," Hearn told CUTigers, when asked about he hopes to accomplish upon arrival.

The 6-3, 305-pound prospect looks forward to getting to work with Caldwell.

"We're just going to try to build a bond. Hopefully, he'll teach me good enough to where I can get a starting position and we'll go from there," Hearn said.

A three-star prospect, according to, he was ranked as the No. 99 offensive tackle in the class of 2015.

The Williston-Elko product will move to Clemson on Sunday.

"I'm really excited. I'm ready to get up there, get to practicing and learning the plays and stuff, working out," Hearn said.

What's he looking forward to about making the next step?

"Just beginning a new chapter in my life, getting out, it's time to make decisions on my own," he said, "And getting to play football again." Recommended Stories
