Radio: Brian Chaffin, Stanford Center Future

Brian Chaffin

Brian Chaffin's commitment gives Stanford a solid future at the center position. Listen to the six-foot-two, 280-pounder's spot on The Bootleg Radio.

After a prolonged lull, Stanford's recruiting efforts have enjoyed a busy week that's coincided with the program's annual summer football camps. North Carolina center Brian Chaffin became the Cardinal's fourth commitment of the 2015 cycle a day before kicker/punter Jake Bailey became the fifth.

As his film below shows, Chaffin is a piledriver with athleticism, so it's easy to why Mike Bloomgren and co. cherished his services so much. Graham Shuler is expected to be Stanford's next starter at center, but David Shaw must already be focusing on his succession plan beyond that in the recruiting world, and Chaffin certainly projects as a future starter. Enjoy his radio piece and the embedded highlights below.
