Clemson adds another DE
Shortly after news broke on Tuesday afternoon that Ferrell would be announcing at Benedictine High School in Richmond, Virginia, he released a list of seven finalists.
On Twitter, Ferrell listed: Michigan State, Virginia Tech Clemson, Tennessee, LSU, South Carolina and Michigan.
His commitment to Clemson comes less than a week after the Tigers added a pledge from three-star defensive end LaSamuel Davis.
With Vic Beasley, Tavaris Barnes and Corey Crawford set to graduate after this season, Clemson is expected to add at least one more defensive end to the 2015 class.
There are a number of prospects to keep an eye on for that final spot, including Woodland High School four-star Michael Barnett, Clemmons, North Carolina four-star Jalen Dalton, Lincolnton, North Carolina four-star Darian Roseboro and Thomasville, Georgia four-star Austin Bryant.
Fellow Richmond product Ricky DeBerry, a five-star prospect, is another prospect on the Clemson recruiting board.
Stay tuned to CUTigers for more from today's announcement. Scout.com Regional Recruiting Analyst Michael Clark is live on location to cover the announcement.
