2016 QB Lands UNC Offer, Plans Visit

North Carolina became the latest school to offer Brandon McIlwain, a 2016 quarterback from Newtown (Pa.) Council Rock North, on Tuesday evening.

Keith Heckendorf, UNC's quarterbacks coach, made an evaluation visit to Council Rock North on Tuesday where he watched McIlwain throw that morning. "My coach gave me [Heckendorf's] number so I called him and we talked about [my workout]," McIlwain said. "He said how he was impressed about how well I threw.
