ACC BB Opponents Announced

North Carolina will welcome ACC newcomer Louisville to the league with a home-and-home series during the 2014-15 basketball season. The Tar Heels will also play a home-and-home series with Syracuse in 2015-16.

UNC will also play Georgia Tech both home and away next season, as well its standard matchups with primary partners Duke and N.C. State.

The Tar Heels will host Florida State, defending ACC champion Virginia, Virginia Tech, Syracuse and Notre Dame at the Smith Center, while also playing road games at Miami, Clemson, Wake Forest , Pittsburgh and Boston College.

In 2015-16, Syracuse and Boston College will join Duke and N.C. State as UNC's home-and-home opponents. The Tar Heels will host Miami, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest and Pittsburgh in Chapel Hill, while traveling to Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Louisville and Notre Dame for road games.

Seven of the ACC's 15 members participated in the NCAA Tournament in 2013-14.
