Junior Day Puts UNC in Davis's Favorites

Javaris Davis made his first visit to North Carolina on Thursday, arriving a couple hours before the Tar Heels' Junior Day began that night.

"It was great," Davis said. "I met [Ryan] Switzer and [Marquise] Williams. I talked to them and they were telling me it's a school I should come to." Davis, a 5-foot-10, 181-pounder from Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White, says that 30 schools have offered him.
