UNC 7-on-7 Preview

High Schools from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia will partake in the Tar Heels’ 7-on-7 Team Camp on Friday.

From an individual standpoint, three UNC verbal commitments will participate – Malik Carney, Jeremiah Clarke, and Avery Edwards. Also, a few of the top in-state recruits will be on hand -- Corey Bell, Mark Fields, Juval Mollette, and Carl Tucker.

Additionally, it can’t be discounted that the camp provides a platform for under-the-radar underclassmen to emerge and eventually earn UNC scholarship offers. Edwards is one such example – he arrived at last year’s 7-on-7 an unknown and received an offer shortly after he departed.

Below is a list of teams expected to participate in the camp, according to various sources. Additional teams can be added in the coming days as limited spots remain.
