Mike's Pre-Season Top 100: 26-30

Treon Harris

CanesTime's Mike Bakas breaks down the state's top 100 football prospects in the Class of 2014, with a focus on where Miami stands with each player. Read on to read about 26-30.

26. Anthony Moten, DT, St. Thomas Aquinas -- At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, Moten is a force in the interior of a very good defensive line at STA. He is very athletic for a big man causes a lot of problems for opposing offenses. Miami offered him very early but he committed to Florida instead.

27. Treon Harris, ATH, Booker T. Washington -- At 5-foot-11 and 185 pounds, Harris is one of the state's most successful prep quarterbacks. He runs the spread offense extremely well. With top notch speed and athleticism, Harris is being recruited as an athlete by a lot of schools including Miami. He seems to be leaning toward playing quarterback in college. Miami is recruiting Harris, who is the brother to former UM DB Brandon Harris, as an athlete.

28. Mason Cole, OL, East Lake -- At 6-foot-5 and 280 pounds, Cole is a very good interior offensive line prospect from the Tampa area. He has ideal height, tremendous strength, light feet, a high football IQ, and he's very aggressive. Miami, and many others, offered him early on but he's committed to Michigan.

29. Corey Martinez, OG, Tampa Catholic -- At 6-foot-4 and 305 pounds, Martinez is a very good interior offensive line prospect from the Tampa area. He's very strong, smart, and tough. He flashes the ability to possibly play right tackle in college but projects better as a guard. Miami has offered him and has gotten a visit. The Canes seem to be in good shape at this stage.

30. Duke Dawson, CB, Dixie County -- At 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, Dawson is a very talented two-way player at a small school near Gainesville. He brings a tremendous amount of athletic ability to the position and already has ideal size for a major college cornerback. The ball skills are there, too. Miami never recruited him, and he made a very early commitment to Florida.
