Bolt Out Indefinitely

BLACKSBURG, Va. -- University of North Carolina freshman outfielder Skye Bolt suffered a fracture of the second metatarsal in his right foot after fouling a ball off his foot during UNC's game against Virginia Tech Friday night and will be out indefinitely.

Dr. Alex Creighton will evaluate Bolt on Monday and a more definitive timetable will be known at that point.

The Woodstock, Ga., native has posted a .392 average on the year with 10 doubles, six home runs and a team-high .648 slugging percentage in 34 games played. Recommended Stories
