Canes land 4-star OL

The Hurricanes landed another four-star offensive line prospect this afternoon.

Reilly Gibbons announced his commitment to Miami earlier this afternoon.

At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Gibbons was recruited nationally. Some of his other scholarship offers included Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Ohio State, and Oklahoma.

The St. Petersburg (Fla) Catholic standout took several unofficial visits in recent months and decided that Miami was the best place for him.

Gibbons, a converted tight end, now gives Miami four offensive linemen in its 2014 class. He joins 5-star K.C. McDermott, 4-star Trevor Darling, and 3-star Nick Linder.

Gibbons, who was recruited by line coach Art Kehoe, is finished with the recruiting process, and doesn't plan on taking any other visits. Recommended Stories
