According to a NC State official, catcher Danny Canela is no longer on the Wolfpack's baseball team.

According to a NC State official, catcher Danny Canela is no longer on the Wolfpack's baseball team.

Canela, a 5'9, 250-pound senior, led NC State in batting last season, as he hit .348 with six home runs, 46 RBIs and had a team-high .457 on base percentage.

Reasons for Canela's departure were not given, but according to one report he is expected to transfer to Lee University, a NAIA school.
