Monty Nelson was extended an offer from Wake Forest in May. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound defensive lineman from Plantation (Fla.) High School still has the Demon Deacons in his sites as he begins to plan his official visits for the month of January. DeaconSports caught up with Nelson for the latest on his recruiting.

"I'm planning on taking all five of my official visits," said Monty Nelson. "I'm looking at Missouri, Wisconsin, Penn State, Louisville, Pitt, and Wake Forest.
