Statistics: scored four touchdowns on offense and accounted for 316 total yards. He rushed for 211 yards and three touchdowns (11, 7, and 4 yards) on 27 carries, caught three passes for 68 yards and a 31-yard touchdown, and was 2-for-2 passing for 37 yards.

Ryan Switzer - RB/DB - Charleston (W.Va.) Washington
Record: 11-3
Game Result: lost to Martinsburg, 63-14, in the semifinals of the  WVSSAC AAA playoffs.
Statistics: ran for 148 yards and a touchdown and 69 yards on four catches. He also threw a touchdown pass.
Quotable: "I knew it was going to be a challenge," Switzer told the Journal News. "They do some great things defensively, but we kind of shot ourselves in the foot with turnovers."

"Anytime he touches the ball in the running game, [Switzer] has the potential to go the distance," Martinsburg defensive coordinator Buddy Hesen told the Journal News.

"Switzer is blinding fast," Martinsburg linebacker Kyle Britner told the Journal News. "We worked on gathering together with everyone, swarming to keep him in."

lost to Toledo Whitmer, 62-34, in the Division I, semifinal of the OHSAA playoffs.
Statistics: completed 27-of-38 passes for 353 yards, three touchdowns (30, 20, and 21 yards), and two interceptions. He also rushed for 121 yards on 26 carries with two scores (1 and 8 yards).
Quotable: "I think you see what kind of young man he is, what kind of football player he is and what a great job he's done in this program," Mentor head coach Steve Trivisonno told the Plain Dealer. "He's played in eight playoff games and that's pretty impressive, especially with the young kids he had around him."

"I think it had to be the players around me and the great coaches we have," Trubisky told the Plain Dealer. "I wouldn't want to play football anywhere else. It was just a great career. I did my best, week in and week out. The numbers just popped up. I hope people enjoyed watching me because I enjoyed playing for this community."

"He was all that I saw on film and then some tonight," Witmer head coach Jerry Bell told the Plain Dealer. "He's an unbelievable football player, and he deserves every award and accolade that he gets. He's unbelievable, and he put his team to be in position to be successful tonight. We were just able to make a few more plays than they did."
