Gunter excited about ACC possibilities

Ladarius Gunter is a Junior College transfer who became a starter midway through his first season as a Hurricane. He knows what's at stake in the final few weeks of the season and talks about it.

Q: How is everything coming along your first year around?
A: It's been coming along a lot easier. I study a lot. I know my plays. I know what's going on, and I know what to expect.

Q: Do you enjoy the physical aspect of your job as a cornerback?
A: I feel like I hit him before he hits me, so I don't feel as much pain.

Q: Are you guys still talking about how your school still has a chance at the ACC championship?
A: Most definitely, that's always in the conversation. We don't control our own destiny, but if we win now, who knows what could happen. Recommended Stories
