His senior year may have come to a close last Friday night, but Maurice J McDonough HS (Md.) linebacker Christian Cole is able to look back on his senior and see significant improvement.

"I think I had a good season," Pomfret (Md.) Cole said. "I got better in my reads and running sideline to sideline."

And he's hoping that his improved technique will help him garner a little more attention in recruiting. While he currently holds offers from Buffalo and Howard, he is being patient in the process.

"I went to Howard this year on a visit but haven't been in contact with Buffalo in a little while," he said. "So I'm going to wait and see if anything else comes in and then make a decision."

Although he may only be 215 pounds, Cole added he wants to gain weight and stay at middle linebacker at the next level. Recommended Stories
