Statistics: caught ten passes for 161 yards and a 27-yard touchdowns. He also intercepted a pass. He had a 35-yard touchdown reception called back by a holding penalty.
Note: has a shot at breaking the state record for receiving yards (1,655 yards set by Demarco Robinson of M.L. King). He currently has 1,231 yards.

Game Result: defeated Charlotte Providence Day, 24-21, to win the NCISAA 11-man Division I Championship.
Statistics: rushed for 219 yards on 29 carries and had a 15-yard reception. He also returned a kickoff 29 yards. -- Charlotte Observer
 
T.J. Logan - RB/S - Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford
Record: 12-0
Game Result: defeated Chapel Hill, 43-0, in the second round of the NCHSAA 3AA playoffs.
Statistics: rushed for 242 yards and four scores (88, 1, 31, and 2 yards) 19 carries. According to the News & Record, he "also made a couple of big hits from his defensive back position, helping Northern hold the Tigers to minus-16 yards of total offense in the first half."
Quotable: "[Logan] can make some plays and he ran good and hard," Northern head coach Johnny Roscoe told the News & Observer. "He was just doing his regular stuff."

"I just wanted to do something for my team and that definitely set it off," Logan told the News & Record about his 88-yard touchdown run. "I saw like two safeties and I broke a tackle on one. One of my guys was there for me and I cut off him and went to the house.

Statistics: helped block for an offense that rushed for 282 yards and threw for 31.

Devondre Seymour - OL - Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett

James Summers - QB - Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy
Record: 5-2
Game Result: defeated Fork Union Military Academy, 12-10.
 
Ryan Switzer - RB/DB - Charleston (W.Va.) Washington
Record: 10-2
Game Result: defeated Hurricane, 35-10, in the first round of the  WVSSAC AAA playoffs.
Statistics: scored four touchdowns -- two rushing (13 and 5 yards) and two receiving (12 and 39 yards). He rushed for 109 yards on 15 carries and pulled in six receptions for 96 more. He also recovered his own onside kickoff at the 50.
Quotable: "They stacked the box and had nine, ten guys in the box every play.," Switzer told the Charleston Gazette. "They had a good game plan, but good game plans don't always turn out good. So we opened it up and [quarterback] Trevor [Bell] showed a lot of poise in the pocket. I'm capable of [playing wideout]. That's probably what I'll play next year in college. I'm real hard to guard one-on-one or one-on-two."

Mitch Trubisky - QB - Mentor (Ohio)
Record: 11-1
Game Result:
defeated Lakewood St. Edwards, 63-56, in the Division I, Region 1 semifinal of the OHSAA playoffs.
Statistics: completed 36-of-48 passes for 478 yards and four touchdowns (33, 11, 8, and 16 yards) without an interception. He also ran for 98 yards and two scores (27 and 2 yards) on 25 carries.
Quotable: "Every big player needs a historic game, but it wasn't just me," Trubisky told the Plain Dealer. "We battled and we pulled one out. The defense -- we knew it would happen sooner or later. They made a big stop in the second half and the crowd started getting into it, and that was huge for us."

"We played [Ohio State QB] Braxton Miller in the [2010] state championship game and Trubisky was extending plays just like him. We couldn't stop him when it mattered most," St. Edward's coach Rick Finotti told the Plain Dealer.
