Record: 5-5
Game Result: lost to Jacksonville Creekside, 23-20.

defeated Wake Forest-Rolesville, 40-38, in the first round of the NCHSAA 4AA playoffs.

Khris Francis - RB - Durham (N.C.) Hillside
Record: 8-3
Game Result: lost to Southeast Guilford, 17-14, in the first round of the NCHSAA 4A playoffs.
Statistics: rushed for 99 yards and a one-yard touchdown on 26 carries. He also caught three passes for 52 yards.-- The Herald-Sun

Game Result:
defeated Gainesville Oak Hall, 56-7.
 
Johnathan Howard – WR - Rochelle (Ga.) Wilcox County
Record: 7-2
Game Result:
defeated Irwin County, 28-21.
Statistics: caught eight passes for 63 yards and two touchdowns (11, and 12 yards). He also intercepted a pass.
Note: has a shot at breaking the state record for receiving yards (1,655 yards set by Demarco Robinson of M.L. King). He currently has 1,070 yards.

Nazair Jones – DE/TE – Roanoke Rapids (N.C.)
Record: 4-7
Game Result: season complete.
 
Desmond Lawrence – RB/DB - Charlotte (N.C.) Christian
Record: 8-3
Game Result: defeated Charlotte Latin, 48-20, in the semifinals of the NCISAA 11-man Division I playoffs.
Statistics: rushed for 180 yards and a 14-yard touchdown on 12 carries and caught two passes for 100 yards and a 75-yard touchdown. He also returned a kickoff 28 yards.
Quotable: "I knew we were going to come out here and get it done early, just put them away," Lawrence told the Charlotte Observer. "[Latin] can always be a spoiler team. That's a good football team and they're well-coached, so we respect them.

"I don't know if [the touchdown throw] originally was supposed to go to me, but it was just a long distance play. We got some routes going and guess I was the one he wanted to go to."

T.J. Logan – RB/S - Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford
Record: 11-0
Game Result: defeated Asheboro, 69-0, in the first round of the NCHSAA 3AA playoffs.
SStatistics: scored four touchdowns -- a 67-yard punt return, and runs of 54, 3, and 30 yards and finished with 225 all-purpose yards in a half of work.
Quotable: "We just wanted to work some new plays in there," Logan told the News & Record. "Try to dominate on defense and offense.

"You can get to where you just rely on [past playoff success]. You've got to come out and play every game."

Game Result: defeated Suwanee Collins Hill, 38-24.

Game Result: defeated Mooresville Lake Norman, 66-0, in the first round of the NCHSAA 4AA playoffs.
Note: missed the game and will be out the rest of the season after having shoulder surgery.
 
R.J. Prince - ROT/DE – Albemarle (N.C.)
Record: 11-1
Game Result: defeated South Robeson, 63-0, in the first round of the NCHSAA 1A playoffs.
Statistics: helped block for an offense that rushed for 231 yards and threw for 168.
 
Jarran Reed - DT – Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi CC
Record: 8-2
Game Result: lost to Copiah-Lincoln, in the MACJC State Playoffs.
 
James Summers - QB – Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy
Record: 5-2
Game Result: defeated Monroe (N.C.) Jireh Prep, 28-0.
Statistics: passed for 104 yards on 6-of-22 passes with two interceptions and rushed for 74 yards on 7 carries.
 
Ryan Switzer – RB/DB - Charleston (W.Va.) Washington
Record: 9-2
Game Result: defeated Parkersburg, 54-17.
Statistics: ran for 235 yards on just eight carries, scored seven touchdown -- on runs of 51, 43, 63, and 43 yards; returned an interception 90 yards; a five-yard reception; and a three-yard pass.-- Parkersburg News
 
Monte Taylor - DE/TE – Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy
Record: 6-2
Game Result: defeated Monroe (N.C.) Jireh Prep, 28-0.
Statistics: recorded two tackles and caught a 26-yard pass.
 
Mitch Trubisky – QB - Mentor (Ohio)
Record: 9-1
Game Result:
defeated Warren Harding, 45-35, in the first round of the OHSAA Division I playoffs.
Statistics: completed 16-of-23 passes for 344 yards and five touchdowns with an interception. He also ran for 73 yards and a score.
Quotable: "Yeah, [playing in my final home game] sucks," Trubisky told the News-Herald. "This program has meant so much to me. This is our last time playing here. It's good to get the win. A lot of good memories here."
