Game Result: defeated Wendell Corinth Holders, 40-15.
Statistics: intercepted a pass that he returned to the 11-yard line and set up a score. He set up an earlier touchdown with a 43-yard catch-and-run. -- News & Observer

Lucas Crowley – OC – Ponte Vedra (Fla.) Nease

Game Result: defeated Durham Riverside, 57-10.

Game Result: defeated Charlotte Country Day, 27-21.

T.J. Logan – RB/S - Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford
Record: 8-0
Game Result: defeated Rockingham County, 42-7.
Statistics: on the first play of scrimmage, scored a 78-yard touchdown run. He finished with 212 yards and four scores (78, 10, 3, and 1 yard) on 19 carries.
Quotable: "Coach has been preaching about defense all week," Logan told the News & Record in reference to Northern's dominated defensive first half.

Statistics: helped block for an offense that rushed for 231 yards and threw for 173.
 
Jarran Reed - DT – Scooba (Miss.) East Mississippi CC
Record: 7-0
Game Result: defeated Northeast Mississippi, 49-0.
Statistics: Six tackles (three solo), including two for a loss and a sack.
 
James Summers - QB – Chatham (Va.) Hargrave Military Academy
Record: 3-2
Game Result: plays Sunday against St. Francis (Pa.) University.
 
Ryan Switzer – RB/DB - Charleston (W.Va.) Washington
Record: 6-1
Game Result: defeated Belle Riverside, 55-16.
Statistics: rushed for 331 yards and three touchdowns (3, 85, and 66 yards) on 21 carries. He also scored on a 61-yard punt return.
Quotable: "We had a great week of practice," Switzer told the Charleston Gazette. "I know for me I had one of the best weeks preparing wise that I've had. I was proud of the team tonight, we came out and we started well. Our defense played pretty good and we were fortunate enough to come here and get the win."

Mitch Trubisky – QB - Mentor (Ohio)
Record: 7-1
Game Result:
defeated Medina, 63-21.
Statistics: completed 12-of-17 passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns (3 and 69 yards). He also rushed for 72 yards and a 19-yard score on six carries.
Quotable: "It feels good," Trubisky told the News-Herald. "I wouldn't say unstoppable. That's what we expect. We feel good coming to the sidelines after scoring every time. We have great expectations. When we came out here and execute and everyone does their jobs, it makes it seem easy."
