defeated East Wake, 55-41.

Game Result: defeated Greensboro Dudley, 21-20
Statistics: caught a nine-yard touchdown pass and ran for a five-yard score. He rushed for 139 yards on 28 carries. -- The Herald-Sun

Game Result: lost to Southern Nash, 42-14.
 
Desmond Lawrence – RB/DB - Charlotte (N.C.) Christian
Record: 2-2
Game Result: defeated Charlotte Victory Christian Center, 38-6.
Statistics: rushed for 48 yards on eight carries and caught three passes for 17 yards.
 
T.J. Logan – RB/S - Greensboro (N.C.) Northern Guilford
Record: 3-0
Game Result: defeated Northwest Guilford, 14-0.
Statistics: finished with 152 yards and two touchdowns (a 72-yard run and a 42-yard catch) on 15 touches. He also had a 65-yard pass called back by a penalty. Of his yards, 105 of them came on 12 rushes.
Notes: He started at quarterback for the second consecutive week, but sat out nearly the entire second half with leg cramps.
Quotable:
“I had like four bottles [of water],” Logan told the News & Record. “I don't know. I guess I'm drinking too much. I'm going to fix it. I'm drinking too much. Last time I wasn't drinking enough. I've got to get it right.”

Game Result: defeated East Central CC, 51-7.
Statistics: five total tackles (1 solo).
 
Ryan Switzer – RB/DB - Charleston (W.Va.) Washington
Record: 2-1
Game Result: defeated St. Albans, 68-23.
Statistics: rushed for 231 yards and three touchdowns (60, 56, and 76 yards) on ten carries. He also had four tackles and two pass breakups on defense.
Quotable: "It felt really good running," Switzer told the Charleston Dailey Mail. "I got to set the cruise control a little bit on a couple of those long ones, but yeah, I'm back."

Mitch Trubisky – QB - Mentor (Ohio)
Record: 2-1
Game Result:
lost to Cleveland St. Ignatius, 48-21.
Statistics: was "hounded by the St. Ignatius pass rush, which dropped him for six sacks and chased him out of the pocket repeatedly, helping to force three interceptions." He completed 19-of-27 passes for 198 yards and a touchdown. He also ran for a score.
Quotable: “We were prepared,” Trubisky told the Plain Dealer. “We just didn't execute.

"We came out with more intensity in the second half. We didn't come out fired up in the first half, and we started off slow. It seemed like we wanted it more in the second half, and if we started out like that, I think we would have been better off. We'll do better next time."
