While limited spaces are still available, North Carolina’s Seven-on-Seven Team Camp is shaping up to attract an impressive roster of teams from North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.

The event’s previous three champions – Durham (N.C.) Hillside (2011) and Raleigh (N.C.) Leesville (2010 and 2009) – have preregistered for the camp, which is scheduled for Friday. They’ll be competing against a group that expects to include football powerhouses Central (S.C.) Daniel, Richmond (Va.) Hermitage, and Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek.

From an individual standpoint, four UNC verbal commitments will participate – Jordan Fieulleteau, Khris Francis, Brian Walker, and Korrin Wiggins. Additionally, several elite prospects will be on hand, including Braxton Berrios, Clemson pledge D.J. Greenlee, Derrick Green, Josh McNeil, South Carolina verbal commitment Connor Mitch, Marquez North, and Trevion Thompson. What also can’t be discounted is the camp’s propensity to provide a platform for little-known underclassmen to emerge and eventually earn UNC scholarship offers.

Below are a list of teams expected to participate in the camp, according to various sources. Limited spots remain available for teams looking to compete in the event.
