Four days after Larry Fedora verbally offered him a scholarship, Robert Dinkins, a 2014 defensive end, called UNC's first-year head coach and verbally committed.

"Tonight when I got finished working out at the gym I called Fedora," Dinkins explained minutes after making the call. "I said, ‘Coach, I don't want to wait. I'm a Tar Heel.'
