Signee Update: Jon Heck

North Carolina signee Jon Heck was the FHSAA Class 2A State Runner-Up in the discus, a couple of weekends back, with a throw of 155' 10.87.

Heck, a 6-foot-6, 295-pound offensive tackle, won the regional championship in the discus, helping Jacksonville (Fla.) Bolles School sweep the regional meet. He also participated in the shot put. But despite posting his personal best put (44' 7.83) in the meet, he didn't advance to the state meet in that event. Heck's personal best discus throw was 161' 9.73 and occurred less than a month...
