Pharoh Cooper made his first visit to North Carolina on Saturday with hopes of leaving with a scholarship offer.

"They didn't offer me," Cooper said. "Coach [Dan] Disch said that he wanted me at Carolina, but he didn't actually offer me." Cooper, a 5-foot-10, 181-pound athlete, visited UNC with roughly a dozen of his Havelock (N.C.) teammates following their participation in the Shrine Bowl Combine earlier that day.
