EXCERPTS
What are you expecting for your 40-yard dash?
“I want to run at least a 4.39. Low 4.4s or 4.3s, either one of them, but I just have to
wait and see when Monday comes.”
How much does your speed set you apart from others in the draft?
“It sets me apart a lot, because I can run down backs and I can guard receivers and tight
ends. A lot of linebackers can’t do all that, so it sets me apart a lot.”
As far as your play and character, what are you trying to show the NFL personnel and
coaches here at the combine?
“I’m just trying to show them that I’m not that guy with a bad image. I’m not (like) the people who were here last year with all the trouble. I wasn’t involved in any of that. Just
to answer all the questions about that.”
Everybody talks about your speed, but what do you need to show the NFL as far as
being a physical guy who can take on offensive linemen and fullbacks?
“I use my speed for a lot of the stuff I do, but then again, I can overpower certain people
like offensive linemen. I’m not as weak as they think I am. I can bull-rush an offensive
lineman, so I can show them if I need to.”
