RALEIGH -- UNC football signee Mike Mason, of Rocky Mount, earned a couple of medals at the state's track and field championships Saturday. IC's Michelle Hillison took the following photos of him in action.

Mike Mason finished first in the triple jump and third in the long jump, while his Rocky Mount team took eight in the 4x200.
