ICTV: McDonald Discusses Injury

DURHAM, N.C. --- North Carolina junior Leslie McDonald discusses his ACL injury and the timetable for his rehabilitation.

Do you have your surgery scheduled?
"It will be August 3rd. It was pushed back so I could spend some time with my family and then do the surgery ... I'll start off right then and do a series of rehabs so I can get back as soon as possible."

Have the doctors given you a timetable after the surgery as to what to expect?
"They were very surprised that I tore my ACL. There's no swelling and I don't feel that much pain; I just feel a little bit of soreness. There's not a whole lot of pain. Looking off that they said I could come back as quick as possible being that I still have full range of motion in my leg. My main focus is getting this surgery out of the way and working on coming back."
