North Carolina secured a second tight end commitment on Wednesday in Terrance Knox of Concord (N.C.).

The 6-1, 231-pound prospect also had offers from Louisville and Wake Forest.

He recorded a 4.70 40-yard dash at the Mebane Shrine Bowl Combine last month.

Knox began his prep career at Concord's archrival, Kannapolis (N.C.) Brown. He transferred to Concord prior to his sophomore year, where he immediately became a starter. As a junior, Knox caught 14 passes for 253 yards and eight touchdowns.
