On display were some of the things that haunted this team most all season, and is why it has ended in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament.
Here is a look at some of the notes of UNC’s 16th loss in 35 games.

***UNC’s 48-40 lead turned into a 62-52 deficit in a 22-4 Georgetown run over a 7:13 stretch because the Tar Heels struggled mightily against the Hoyas’ zone and were poor handling the ball.
***Carolina registered 16 assists for the game but turned the ball over 18 times.
Raymond Felton had his fourth double-double in his last six games. He finished with 11 points and 11 assists. He also did so in the stretch against Duke, Maryland and Wyoming.
