"Shaun Draughn had been cleared and will be able to join the team this week as an active participant," Butch Davis said.
A native of Tarboro, N.C., Draughn was held out of the LSU game while the University worked with the NCAA to determine his eligibility status.
"As far as Shaun’s role [Saturday against Georgia Tech], we’re certainly going to try to get him back in the flow of things," Davis said.
Draughn rushed for 567 yards in 10 games as the starter in 2010. As a sophomore, he recorded 866 yards on the ground.
